After months of serious consideration, we sadly decided to cancel the First Romanian Festival, Renaissance, in Hollywood, Florida, scheduled for the weekend of May 3-4. We came to the conclusion that at this time, there simply is not sufficient interest, funding and involvement from the community and local businesses to justify the efforts and expenses to implement such a big undertaking. We accept that the goal to host such a large event was a bit lofty and too ambitious for such a young organization. With that said, we did not fully abandon our good intentions. As we look forward to
