The presentation spot of the International Festival “George Enescu” will be aired on CNN during the period April 22 to May 19, the organizer of this festival, ARTEXIM, informs.
The musical event this fall is the only international cultural event organized by Romania that benefits of such a visibility and is part of an extensive promotional campaign conducted in partnership with CNN, both on TV and online, since the end of 2012.
The spot of “George Enescu” Festival was also presented on TV news Euronews site, in a first stage of the international promotional campaign, from February 15 to March 14, its banners on the Euronews site totaling over 190,000 visits. Meanwhile, in November – December 2012, “George Enescu” International Festival 2013 spot was broadcast by Euronews 102 times.

“George Enescu” International Festival is the only international cultural event organized by Romania and a true cultural brand of the country.
The 2013 edition of the festival offers a unique cultural mix and George Enescu’s creations could be listened in Bucharest in a unique interpretation of famous artists and orchestras, such as the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Berlin Staatskapelle, London Philharmonic, Münchner Philharmoniker, London Royal Philharmonic, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic or Academy St. Martin in the Fields.
The guests include conductors Daniel Barenboim and Mariss Jansons, pianists Radu Lupu, Murray Perahia, Pinchas Zuckerman, Maxim Vengerov and Evgeny Kissin. The famous Romanian actor Marcel Iures will debut as the narrator, alongside the Choir and George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra in cantata ”Gurre-Lieder”, an unprecedented musical production within 2013 edition.
Orchestras and artists, as the following, will be for the first time in Romania on the occasion of this Festival’s edition: Rundfunk Sinfonieorchester Berlin orchestra – which will present Wagner’s tetralogy for the first time in Bucharest in the past 50 years – Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, National Philharmonic of Russia, John Malkovich and the Wiener Akademie, Harmonius Chamber Orchestra – Osaka, Vortice Dance Company.
