The United States of America is interested in the success of Romania as a democratic partner with a powerful rule of law state, as the two countries keep on having common global responsibilities and a strategic partnership, U.S. Vice President Joe Biden said in a telephone call with Romanian President Traian Basescu on Thursday.
According to a release issued by the U.S. Vice President’s Office, the two officials discussed several topics relating the regional developments.
On the occasion, Biden voiced appreciation for the constant contribution of Romania to NATO missions, the release adds.AGERPRES
