Iurie Leanca said that between the two prime ministers there is an almost permanent communication. “Today’s visit is extremely important to us, one more proof that Romania is backing us consistently and selflessly, is helping us advance on our European course and not only with supportive and sympathetic statements, but also with financial resources, transfer of expertise, and also very targeted approaches,” the head of the government in Chisinau told in a joint press conference with his counterpart from Bucharest.
The press conference of the two prime ministers was preceded by a face-to-face meeting and a one of delegates, where they discussed topics related to the European agenda of the Republic of Moldova, but also projects in energy security, education and infrastructure.
Referring particularly to the cooperation of the two states in the field of education, Iurie Leanca announced that on Friday a cooperation agreement between the relevant ministries was signed, and highlighted the possibility of applying the spirit and principles of the Erasmus Programme between the two states, but mentioned that will not happen to the detriment of scholarships offered by Romania to the Moldovan youths.AGERPRES
