Government decides creation of Aviation Safety Technical Committee

During its weekly meeting, the Romanian Government has passed a Decision for creating the Aviation Safety Technical Committee, a structure without legal personality, providing the consultative framework for the Ministry of Transportation to analyse the issues of civil aviation, informs the Government’s Press Office. The Decision of creating the Aviation Safety Technical Committee also gives the Ministry of Transportation a framework for coordinating the airport operators, air transport companies and entities that use civil aviation safety standards. Almost 2 million Romanians named after Saint John the Baptist – 1,420,774 men and 531,197 women – celebrate their name day on Tuesday.
