Broadband internet connections advance 7%, to 3.8 million in 2013

Broadband internet connections in Romania reached 3.8 million in 2013, up 7 per cent from the previous year, while 60 per cent of the individual landline internet connections allow data transfer speeds of at least 30 Mbps, according to the annual report released on Monday by the National Communications Administration and Regulatory Authority (ANCOM).
